The ultimate backyard bash — featuring amazing live music plus an incredible flame cooked feast (along with craft beer, fine wine, and premium cocktails). And it’s all in support of the Jessie Rees Foundation, encouraging kids fighting cancer to “Never Ever Give Up.” NEGU!

Fired Up For Summer wouldn’t be “Fired Up” without the amazing culinary talents of some of the most popular, award-winning, chefs around. This year we’re super excited to welcome back Noah von Blöm from ARC Restaurant, Joe Youkhan, Food Network’s “Chopped” Champion, and our friends from Paella Project.

The Venue

Fired Up For Summer is hosted at a sprawling, private estate inside the gated community of Coto De Caza in Orange County. Guests will enjoy a poolside reception – including tray-passed hors d'oeuvres, flame cooked food tasting stations, custom cocktails, and fine wine – before venturing down to the outdoor arena for some amazing live music.

The Cause

The Jessie Rees Foundation was, and always will be, inspired by one courageous and compassionate 12 year old little girl. Her name, Jessica Joy Rees, better known as “Jessie.” Jessie was a faith-filled, beautiful, athletic, caring and loving girl who courageously fought cancer (DIPG) from March 3, 2011 to January 5, 2012. She created JoyJars® and was the first one to coin the term “NEGU®.”
